ScanGrants is a free database designed to facilitate the search for funding sources to support research in individual and community health. Sources most frequently listed include private foundations, corporations, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations and also includes less traditional funding opportunities. Federal and state funding sources are typically not included on ScanGrants because they are readily available on other sites (e.g. http://www.grants.gov/). Topics of interest can be selected from an extensive list of categories covering a variety of diseases and conditions.
